Sponsorship Levels

We are seeking a few early supporters to get us through the pre-production and printing phases of the project. Here are some suggested donation levels suitable for families, organizations and companies. We are hoping to raise an initial $30,000 before the end of 2019. Sam coveted original artwork, and we are willing to part with a few special original cartoons as part of the Daruma (Perseverance) level. For the Daruma and Gambaru levels, family names, company or corporate logos will be listed on a special thank you page in the book.

Daruma 達磨 (Perseverance) Level — $5,000 +

For the Daruma level, a hand-numbered Deluxe Limited Edition Hardcover Book with Handmade Custom Embossed Slipcase will be reserved. Donors will select an Original Cartoon or series of cartoons from the Goto collection. For a series, please contact Dee Goto directly to discuss options.

GOAL: 10 sponsors for $50,000

Gambaru 頑張る (Tenacious) LEVEL — $1,500 +

Preserve the legacy — educate the next generation. Fund the printing of 10 Softcover Books, donated to a library, school or non-profit of choice. Sponsors will receive a hand-numbered Deluxe Limited Edition Hardcover Book with Handmade Custom Embossed Slipcase will be reserved.

GOAL: 20 sponsors for $30,000

KAIZEN (CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS) LEVEL — $500+

The simplest way to support Sam Goto’s legacy! For the Kaizen level, a hand-numbered Limited Edition Hardcover Book with Handmade Custom Embossed Slipcase will be reserved.

GOAL: 50 sponsors for $25,000
